Thailandia is surrounded by the Andaman Sea in the Indian Ocean in the West, and by the waters of the Gulf of Siam in the East.
One of the most famous dive sites is the one of the Similan Islands, northwest of Phuket Island, whose stunningly beautiful islands are frequented by the rich marine life, warm clear waters with underwater walls over 60 m vertical drop, spectacular corals, and wide variety of fish.

With varying currents and a visibility between 10 and 50 m, it is inevitable to meet nurse sharks and silver points. Moray eels, lion fish, barracuda or sea horses in the gorgonian, are examples of the great variety of underwater species.
